8-strand rope

Due to the large number of strands (compared to 6-strand ropes), the ropes are more flexible, while having high strength characteristics and reduced friction between the outer wires in the strands and the surface of the streams of the blocks.
The outer strands of the rope after twisting pass through the crimping rollers, thanks to which the strand is compacted - the cross-sectional area of the metal increases, the shape of the strand becomes smoother, rounded, this gives the following advantages:

• the wear resistance of the wires to abrasion increases,
• the wear of the streams of blocks decreases,
• high strength characteristics of the rope,
• the resistance of the rope to transverse crushing is increased

The organic filler inside the rope is an additional source of lubrication, increases corrosion resistance.
These advantages allow you to increase the service life of the rope and significantly reduce operating costs.

• Version I – without organic filler.
• Version II – with 8 organic fillers between the outer and inner layers of the rope.
• Version III - with 8 organic fillers between the outer and inner layers of the rope and plastic compression of the outer strands.
