Special nails for pneumatic tools
DIN EN 10230-1-2000
According to the tool used for hammering, there are:
- machine nails
- nails fastened in a cage with copper-plated wire (Coil nails)
- nails in a plastic cage (Pe-Strip)
Machine nails are used in stationary machines in the industrial production of serial wood products, when several nails are automatically hammered at the same time using compressed air.
Pistol nails fastened in clips (Dead, Coil nails, Pe-strip) are used in pneumatic tools (manual machines with a built-in pneumatic motor) designed for the mechanization of manual labor in the construction, manufacture and repair of wooden containers.
