Severstal Metiz Presents Latest Developments for the Shipbuilding In-dustry at the Neva International Exhibition

Severstal-metiz presented wire ropes with new designs, related products, etc., for the shipbuilding industry at the NEVA 2025 International Exhibition and Conference dedicated to civil shipbuilding, navigation, port operations, and ocean and offshore exploration.

Severstal-metiz produces a wide variety of products for shipbuilding, encompassing both well-established products and brand-new solutions that meet current market demands, namely, steel wire ropes as well as rope, chain and textile slings used in shipbuilding, vessel repair, and port facilities. All of Severstal-metiz’s products comply with industry-specific regulations, requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) and Russian Classification Society (RCS), ensuring safe operation of vessels and reliable cargo transportation.

Some of the exhibited products serve as substitutes for their imported counterparts. The Russian-based production, specifically in Volgograd and Cherepovets, minimizes supply chain risks.

In addition to the products, Severstal-metiz offers comprehensive on-site maintenance and technical support services. The services include consultations on the selection and use of wire ropes, examination for rope wear, etc. Such an integrated approach ensures safe, conscious, and long use of the products.
